A year ago, I spotted Lindsey Wixson in an editorial. I didn’t know who she was, but I ripped out the page determined to find out. I wanted to cast this “unknown” model for my next shoot. Turns out she isn’t so unknown anymore. After being rejected from IMG, this 15 year-old from Kansas was booked for Italian Vogue after posting some pics on models.com. Since then she has taken the modeling world by storm. After debuting at New york Fashion Week in September 2009, she has gone on to walk in shows for 3.1 Philip Lim, DKNY, Jason Wu, Marc Jacobs, Versace, Zac Posen, Miu Miu and Prada among many others. She is now the face of Miu Miu and is ranked 27 of the top 50 models. She is signed with Marilyn in NY and Vision in LA.
