I recently walked by a store called A.sweeT. I’m really much more of an online shopper so for me to walk into a brick and mortar store, it has to be special. A.sweeT was. The boutique is located at 253 S Beverly Dr. in Beverly Hills down the street from my favorite coffee place, The Urth Cafe. The store is stark white, but filled with things bright and colorful. It’s full of sweet things like cupcake scented candles, lipbalm that looks like candy, candy covered sleep sets, clothes in the most beautiful shades of pastels, including a chanel-esqe pink with black trim jacket by Sauce and of course CANDY!! Lots of candy! Its like Dylan’s candy shop meets your favorite boutique. When I met owner, Andrea Trujillo, I understood why the store was so great. A former employee of Daily Candy, she knows her clothes and candy; the way she combined the concept is unique and it makes A.sweeT a happy place to be and shop. Andrea said her gift basket business was really taking off and when I took at look at a few of them, I could see why. They are almost too pretty to eat and are customized for baby showers, bridal showers, ect. For more info visit asweetonline.com.
