This weekend I asked my Twitter followers how they love to spend their weekends. In addition to posting some of my favorite responses to this question, I thought I’d share how I like to spend my weekends as well…
- I love the reprieve of answering 100+ emails coming in at all hours of the day. Because most showrooms, etc. are closed on the weekends, this number is drastically decreased.
- Guilt free sleeping in!
- Brunch with my son and husband. We do this EVERY weekend. I order something healthy and get to pick at Brody’s pancakes.
- Cooking. I just watched Julie and Julia, which inspired me to cook. BTW, great movie! This weekend I made Bruschetta and Chicken Madeira.

- Reading. I am reading several books right now (I have a short attention span), including The Widow Clicquot, which is the story of the Madame Clicquot of my favorite Veuve Clicquot Champagne. The first time I had Veuve we had just jumped off our friend’s boat in the Hamptons and swam to the shore of Sunset Beach. There we had lunch on the beach and drank bottles of Veuve. It is one of my best memories and I have loved the champagne ever since. I am also reading Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin. It’s about a girl of 15 who dies and goes to “Elsewhere” where you age backward then return to Earth.

- I also like to get in a really long workout and call friends and family that I haven’t spoken to all week.
- And last but not least, watching Entourage and Hung Sunday night on HBO!!!

Here were a few of my favorite answers from my Twitter followers:
