Tribal Influences

Tribal influences were a big theme for designers for spring 2010. Some of my favorite collections were Marc by Marc Jacobs, Catherine Malandrino, Tracy Reese and Dries Van Noten, whose spring collection featured the meshing of ethnic influences (African with tribal prints) with the opulent motifs he’s known for. I loved pairing these pieces with menswear inspired items. I got some great ideas on how to wear the tribal-inspired pieces I’ve been eyeing.
